Continuous optimisation of our energy consumption
Through further training in the field of environmental technology, we are constantly optimising our energy consumption. The replacement of environmentally friendly components is a high priority. The energy efficiency upgrade of the hotel building and the heating system in accordance with The possibilities are obvious to us. We therefore decided to operate a geothermal heating system from the end of 2024. Solar thermal energy and PV collectors for electricity generation (with an output of 99 kilowatt peak) on our own and neighbouring roofs help us to become even more climate neutral.

Compliance with current environmental legislation is a matter of course for us. We strive to make improvements within the scope of our capabilities.

In order to strengthen local value creation in our region, we work together with regional retailers and farmers and give preference to products and goods from the region. Greater freshness and environmentally friendly production enable us to guarantee better quality in our food and goods. Shorter delivery routes help protect the environment.
