The lighting in the hotel room, the use of the television, the provision of chilled drinks and the use of the shower and fittings in the bathroom all have something in common: they are virtually indispensable for a hotel stay, but they cause harmful greenhouse gas emissions. These greenhouse gases, including the prominent carbon dioxide, commonly known as CO2<\/sub>, are primarily responsible for global warming and are significantly disrupting the balance of our ecosystem. <\/p>\n We are already trying to avoid these emissions through strong commitment (geothermal heating system, priority electricity procurement through PV system) on our part, but unfortunately we are only partially successful. Not all emissions can be prevented. <\/p>\n A completely climate-neutral stay is therefore only possible in the accommodation and conference areas through compensation<\/strong>.
